About Joliet, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Joliet is a northeastern Illinois city with a population of about 147,000 people. The City of Joliet is the 3rd largest city in the state of Illinois. Joliet serves as the county seat of Will County. The city was laid out in 1834 by James B. Campbell, incorporated as a village in 1837, and was reincorporated in 1852.

There are many things to see and do around Juliet. The historic Rialto Square Theatre is located in Downtown Joliet and once served as one of Al Capone’s favorite places to hang out. The Joliet Prison is located on Collins Street. The prison has been featured in many movies and television shows. Joliet is also home to the first Dairy Queen. The building in which the Dairy Queen sat is now occupied by a church. Other points of interest in Joliet include the Joliet Area Historical Museum, the Louis Joliet Mall, several city parks, and much more.

Joliet is located in a climate that experiences four distinct seasons. Winters in the city and the surrounding areas are usually characterized by very cold temperatures and plenty of snowfall. Daytime temperature highs range from the low to mid-30s and will dip well below freezing at night. Residents of Joliet will find it necessary to install efficient heating systems in their homes. During the coldest days of the year, an efficient heating system could literally be a lifesaver.

Summer in Joliet is usually warm and humid. Daytime temperature highs during the months of June, July, and August range from the low to mid-80s on average. In addition to warm temperatures, rainfall is very common during the summer season. The summer months typically experience more rainfall than the months of spring. Although the summer months are mild in comparison to other parts of the country, residents should install central air conditioning units in their homes. These systems will keep individuals cool and comfortable when heat waves visit the city.
